It was hot yesterday so I decided that there was no way I was going to puppy class without a swim before that. Good call because it was hot at the park until the sun went down. It was a good swim which always gets me excited. 869 strokes, 10.7METs, average heart rate 149. I was tired but not exhausted - which is good when you're going to play with 20+ German shepherds on a full moon. I'm not superstitious, but I swear it puts them all in a mood where listening is not a priority. Interestingly enough, steps were way down yesterday. Probably I sat more because of the heat. I'm not a huge fan. It was hot, but not humid, so remained functional. Today is supposed to be the same. We'll get through it. No AC yet. As long as it cools down at night, I'm good.
Staying focused on my intake and moving. I think we'll do this through the rest of the month and maybe October. I stayed under goal, was quite satisfied for the day, AND I had a waffle for my very late dinner after class. Always a bonus.
