That stubborn half-pound finally came off! It's one more step in the right direction. One more rock out of the basket. I'd call it a good beginning to the month. Let's see what the end of the month's like.
I put in a longer-than-usual stretch at the gym yesterday. I'm going in again today (and, perhaps, tomorrow). Every little bit helps on that journey.
I'm noting markers, too, on my recovery from illness: I'm both more limber than I was, but also quite a bit stronger than I was last autumn. This is a really positive thing.
