Why is it that I eat approx 1200 cal a day, burn 2400, and not lose? I hope that its not my body wanting to stay at this weight! Tonight I meet with my trainer for 1.5 hours ... will ask him.
85,7 kg Disminuído hasta ahora: 0,5 kg.    Aún para ir: 10,9 kg.    Dieta seguida: Bien.

Because sometimes when we do a lot of exercise and don't eat enough, our metabolism slows down because it isn't getting the fuel it needs. Plus, other things factor in to weight loss (not just caloric defecit) such as genetics, body type, amount of exercise, sodium, medications, stress, hormones, et. You might also be losing fat (inches), but not having it show on the scale straight a way. I had a friend who didn't see the scale move for months but went down 4 sizes. It's hard to predict how your body will respond. But if you keep eating healthy and exercising, it will eventually show in the scale or by losing inches (going down in sizes). Both are indications of weight loss (not just the scale). You are doing amazing! Hang in there!
