Day 64 (Week 9): 10 TO 30 POUNDS BY November OR BUST

Week 3 Cruise to Lose!

So I think I have decided that carb counting is a bit too restrictive for me. The OCC has been good for me in that I really learned a lot about my own carb intake but I like allowing for more variety and cheat days as long as I am usually within my calorie limit and know I am eating "good" carbs for the most part.

Hunger was better yesterday for the most part. I really think it was too many of those chocolate minis even though I stayed within my calories.

Yoga was awesome as always last night. Man she was intense with our sun citations last night. I can really tell I am getting stronger, though!

Floor Goal: 250 Done, D-done, Done, Done!!! 13lbs down from the beginning of the challenge, 17 down from when I first started watching in August.

Mid-range: 245 Turkey Day I am coming for you! 18 from beginning of the challenge. 21.5 from when I first started and .5 from now. Goal date Nov. 1st (Only missed by .5lbs! I won't be able to weigh-in tomorrow cause Mom's scale is definitely different than mine but I am sure this is complete!)[/color]
Ceiling goal: 235 by the 30th of November. This is a bit of a stretch, but that is what a ceiling goal is all about. :) 28 from challenge start, 11.5 from now and 31.5 from when I first started watching. (I can feel this with my finger tips if I just r...e...a...c...h!)
Christmas Challenge Goal:230 by December 25th!! 36.5 from when I first started watching. (I have got a plan for the holidays! For once in my life I will NOT gain weight, I will LOSE!!!)

1st things first 245 (gosh.5 Will have by early next week WooHoo!!) then 240 then on down, down down!

The carb restrictive diets are too much for me too. I have been told though that my carb count is low, avg about 130, and this is done by just controlling my calories and sticking to whole grains which is my version of healthy eating. I had issues with craving sweets when I started treating myself to hostess 100 calorie muffins. Stayed within my calories too but started obsessing about food and sweets again. Had to stop.

True. I had some mini chocolates this week and was starting to feel hunger again and one of the reasons I love SB so much is no hunger. That derailed every other diet plan I have ever tried. So it's not that I don't watch them and I lose well at about 160NC, so I am enjoying the challenge because it taught me about my eating habits. I am often less than 100NC, myself, but I don't feel bad on days that I am at 175 NC either. I like that felxibility. So, I doubt I will do another carb counting challenge though I am VERY grateful for having particiapted in this one. Although if I hit a MAJOR plateau you never know :)

isnt it great when you can feel that your body is gettin stronger when you move around like we do when we get different exercises!!!!...HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!!!

Happy Halloween! I think the carb thing is very interesting, but as long as I'm still losing I'm not gonna watch that, too. Congratulations on the loss! Hooray for Old Man Scale! I have no clue what a sun citation is, but I'm glad they are making you stronger! Do you have to wear sunblock to do them?

LOL is a yoga series. It's that middle part I count as Calithenics (spelling) because it involves strength training moves including a plank which is the up of a push up (modified is girl style, but most of the ime I don't modify them anymore)
