Week 2
So I'm sure my old, weary mechanical scales must have been lying to me last week when I weighed in, because I noticed during a sneaky mid-week "progress check" that my weight had shot up by almost 10lbs(!). So my target of losing 14lbs is now an impressive 23lbs. I've recorded it anyway, and have resolved to buy some new (hopefully kinder) scales, which will tell me that this has all just been a horrible lie (yeah, right! - lol).
In other news, I attended my first ever group exercise class today down at my local sports centre. It was a 'Bums, Tums and Thighs' class and I can confirm that I am now somewhat tender in the aforementioned areas. In fact, I've decided that I enjoyed these classes so much that I've gone and booked myself in for a spinning class tomorrow evening and you know, I might even try one of the 'Step and Sculpt' classes later in the week!
I'm off to Marmaris, Turkey at the weekend for a nice week-long break with the BF so won't be weighing in on Monday, but I'll be thinking of you all while I'm on my sunlounger :D
