Hi,

I really need to get better with my food choices. Keto worked well for me, but messed up my digestion and threw my thyroid off.
Any thoughts about the best wellness routine (diet and exercise) that is Hashimotos friendly and effective for weight loss?
I need to loose at least 40lbs. I know it will take a minute and that’s fine with me. I just need a lifestyle adjustment that is sustainable and friendly for my health.

just plain low carb works too, you don't have to go high fat for more regular diet plan. cutting out refined carb products and sugar...... alone is a great option. that is where the most empty calories lie anyways. focus on good veggies and a good protein balance

Thank you baskington, I think I’m going to adopt that...sounds more sustainable for me. Only problem is that fruits help me with digestion issues and I don’t know how to achieve low carb with those, any ideas?
