I'm not trying yet to lose weight, since I just joined last night, and yesterday and today were spent at the hospital and at doctor's appointments due to Mom's eye surgery. I'm not going to put it off though, I just have to be able to give it a little thought before I get into it properly. I am determined to lose more weight though. I don't want to just try to jump in because i've done that in the past and it didn't work. What has worked so far is counting numbers of portions of each food group, so I'll likely do that. Also I think I'll try to go low or no fat for a while because the top of my abdomen is sore again and I sometimes feel queezy, so I may be having a reocurrance of either the gastritis or pancreatitis from the beginning of the year and I don't need that again. I wish I knew what caused either of them since I have no reason to have either one.

Today is my first day using the "fat secret" journal and support. I've been looking for a program that supports eating gluten free (due to gluten intolerance)and preferably low GI and it seems that this one does both, so maybe this will be my chance to lose weight.Here goes...
