Day 9 - Well that was a tough holiday weekend food wise. Lost 3lbs this week. I guess my metabolism has slowed with age. I will have to add exercise to start really losing weight. KETO IF works great as long as you can follow a set schedule. Throw in a holiday and family and you get chaos! (I love the chaos!) I have 4 children and it's been a journey raising them! 2 are on their own and one is graduating HS this year. The last will graduate HS next year. Once these kids are out of college... could be waving goodbye to them too. Married to my best friend so we'll figure out something to do.

Day 5- There was no day 4 because I had a couple of bourbons with a buddy and was pretty hung over. Not having carbs to place over alcohol really puts you behind the 8-ball. Won't be doing that too often on this journey. The Keto meter showed up yesterday and I have a .7 reading. My 16 year old son, who is Keto and doing IF and 24 fasts alternately scored a 1.8. My son is young and in good shape, he is just trying this lifestyle out and losing a few pounds that he doesn't need. I am getting used to this and reducing my caloric intake in the process. Just not that hungry out of my window. This will change once I start exercising and I am going to have to find things to do to keep my mind busy at night after work. I am hoping exercise helps out until I get to bed.

Day 3 - Felt a little hungry last night but had no problems going to sleep. I've decided to take the KETO Bread away from breakfast. I am finding it serves no real purpose at breakfast and I don't need it for the calories. Downloaded the phone app last night. It's a little more functional than the web app, here. I still like a full screen though. Looking forward to the first weigh in on Monday. Probably do Tuna today for lunch. I would eat this everyday if it wasn't for the mercury levels.

Day 2. Feeling OK. I think my body remembers what I am doing. I had zero problems last night. My window is 6:30AM - 10:30AM. Nothing but water and black coffee outside this window. I am doing about half my RDI and trying to stay inside KETO guidelines (60% Fat, 30% Protein, 10% Carbs). This will be adjusted after week 2 weigh in. I am eating breakfast and an early lunch. No snacks, even inside the window. In 2 weeks I will increase my exercise. This will give my body a chance to adjust to the new/old diet (again). I kept my weight off for 2 years and then Covid Hit. It's no excuse but I used it as one. So in the last two years I slowly gained 80% of my lost weight back. Have family support this time so that will help too.
