I've decided to truly maintain (and know how) I have to try not to record my food to see if I can let go of the control issue I am having. I wanted to put away the scale but I know deep down I will just take it out. So for a week (at least) I'm gonna try not recording the food and relying on how I feel .... the scale will be another hurdle for another time :)

tell me please why people who aren't dieting have such issues with people who are?? I either get asked how I lost weight and accused of being bulimic or people make a point to give me a hard time when I say no to a donut... regardless of what I say or how healthy I personally think I look and feel - im constantly met with negative comments about dieting...and its only by people who eat what they want and don't care. and that's fine.. but why so negative against people who do???
that's my vent.

well... I did my walk(up hill both ways - 2 miles with my 100 lb double stroller- yesterday and I did my swimming(45 minutes of actual strokes and exercising)- my arms are KILLING me and my calves have sworn revenge - but I got to my original goal weight while eating hotdogs, nachos, pasta salad and summer cake (all my favorite things)... knowledge is power. I knew if I over compensated on exercise I could eat what I wanted and I actually lost weight doing it. I never knew I could eat and lose weight. it's gonna be a good day!
