Thanks y’all. I really appreciate the support. I’m going to keep up with this journey and pray my body decides it is going to start losing the pounds. I’ve had 1390 calories today and burned 2030 calories. How am I not losing pounds? Am I not eating enough? I went from not eating breakfast or lunch to eating breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was gaining weight from not eating. Maybe my body thinks it needs to hang on to the weight just in case I stop feeding it?

Just wanted to add that weigh in for me is every Monday. I don’t want to be constantly on the scale obsessing over my weight, so choose to weigh in once a week.

I’m really hoping I have lost more than .4 pounds this week. My last weigh in was after starting my diet 2-3 days before my first weigh in, and I had lost .4 pounds - I was excited about that then, but I’ve been really trying to watch my calorie intake this week. I really want this to work for me.

Not even 1 full pound lost after a week. I’m a little depressed now. I really thought I was doing so well. My clothes are looser and I’m constantly having to pull my pants up, but losing the pounds is not happening very much. I have lost another .4 pounds. At this rate, I will be thin after I’m dead. 😳😂

I was invited to a birthday dinner and they had made Discada with fajitas, hot links, sausage links, shrimp. They had frijoles, sweet corn and rice. So delicious! I even had a small piece of birthday cake.
