So, tonight my workout didn't happen, honestly after the day I had at work I'm not heartbroken about it, but have told myself tomorrow will be the day since I get off work earlier and since I'm not actively the person in charge, it will be a better day. honestly though I did get quite a good workout while at work, walked several miles, quite a few hills, and really only had time to sit down for about 30 minutes out of my whole day at work. Long stressful days are made even longer and more stressful when you're the only one on active duty while being just under ranked enough for it to make it even worse.
curling up in bed with a nice book and a glass of water nearby.

Last night and half of today were really rough, but I spent some time with my mom (my best friend), and we had lunch and coffee and dog time and bookstore time. She bought me After Alice, which I am VERY thrilled about and cannot wait to read while house sitting these next 10 days. Not only do I have a new book, but I also get to spend time with some of my favorite dog buddies.
I read a very interesting thing awhile back which makes me hesitant to share my goal and plan of action with you guys, but I also recently read something conflicting that makes me WANT to share it with you guys, lololol, curse you, internet.
What I read was that telling people your goals or essentially saying your goals out loud trigger a response inside your brain as if you've already accomplished said goals! So basically, your brain sabotages everything and you shouldn't trust it. ;)
But! Since I want to become more active in a community of people working towards some of the same achievements, I'm gonna share!
Got in touch with my Insanity DVDs today and am going to embark upon an Insanity and Brazil Butt Lift hybrid workout. Something I wish was called Insane Butt Lift. I LOVE Insanity, it's seriously one of my favorite workouts (pretty much in the history of ever) and I think adding a new twist to it will make me less bored on those pesky Plyo Circuit days.
Last but certainly not least, in case those of you who commented on my last journal didn't see, I sincerely appreciate all of the kind words and the reminders to keep myself focused on me and how I feel about me instead of others and how they may or may not feel about me.

Today I was told my weight makes me unattractive and that it's "ruining my face too"
Not even sure how I feel about it since I've always felt terrible about myself to begin with.

Weighed in today, realize it has been almost 2 weeks.
I guess I'll just have to suck up this gain and try harder.
I feel like it's really just water weight from being sick as I feel REALLY puffy, but I don't want to get used to not weighing in just because there's a gain or a setback.
Also had an idea. What if fatsecret told us how long it would take to gain our weight back if we keep gaining? So instead of saying if you keep LOSING xlbs/week you'll meet your goal in x weeks. It'd say if you keep gaining xlbs/week you'll be back at your start weight in x weeks?
I think that would be pretty motivating.
