ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
to hysterectomy or to not hysterectomy...LOL...kinda...this is mostly a female posting...but dudes can read if they want...(might have a female in their life that has to deal with this stuff)...
ok...went to the obgyn to see what the issues are and why the hormones are not working...was given two options: 1. hysterectomy and all that goes with it or 2. a newer proceedure called NOVASURE...where basically they go in with a flat tool and scare the lining of the uterus - this should stop all of the processes while leaving the organs in place. its my personal belief that GOD gave me these organs for a reason, however they dont work, so i should leave them in as long as possible (or maybe not) read confussion...
kids are not wanted nor have i ever really felt the need to "have" a kid or two...so from the standpoint of the next generation that really does not play into the concerns...hubby is in agreement on this point also...
has anyone had this done or know of anyone who has?...i would really be interested in hearing their stories and how/if it worked...the doc says that if it doesn't do what it is supposed to that i can still do the full blown hysterectomy...
the benefits to the second procedure are that you are back up and at em' in a couple of days...few people have to take off longer than that and with just having lost my assistant and having to work 54 hours a week, it would be nice to not have to make waves so soon about needing time off...jobs are scarce and i would like to keep mine until i find something else...
any input would be appreciated...thanks all

ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...
i totally let the oct 1st day pass by without acknowleging that it was the anniversary of year 2 for me on the sb life...
having mixed feelings about it...the weight im at is about the same as when i started, however i am down from a size 16/18 to a 10/12...dont know if this is were i want to be or not...
the medical stand is about the same...i feel very grateful that i have managed to stay the same weight and not gain as i was before, but bummed at the same time that im not loosing as i feel i should be...doesn't that sound like a spoiled brat...hummm...
the family front is so much better, i am so blessed to have a wonderful husband, two wonderful girls, and a boat load of friends that i can count on for anything

so this is kindof a boreing 2 year update, but gratefully alot has not happened this year...

will check on journals as i can...the company fired my assistant yesterday - thereby adding 9 hours a week to my schedule - with NO increase in pay and no hope of hiring someone in the near future...oh well...count my blessing and start searching for a new position...lol
