Ok, good news and bad news. Bad news first - my veggie net carbs suck! I am having a hard time planning for the veggies on the weekdays when I'm sooo busy. I just need to have a tuna or chicken salad for lunch, but today and yesterday I was unable to plan lunch because of weird work schedules because of family dentist/dr appointments. I WILL do better! The rest of the week should be a slam dunk. Weird thing. I made myself a huge dinner - eggs sausage and avocado - could only eat a few bites because It made me immediately full. To the point of being nauseous. I'm not complaining but it makes it hard to get above 1500 kcals a day.

Good news - I got 45 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training in at the gym today, I feel GOOD! I'm channeling the inner 21 year old the whole time I'm working out (because that is the age I was the last time I weighed 135 and was in great shape). Going back on Thursday for a consult with a personal trainer. i know I can't afford one but the consultation is free and he will do my body composition :)

Today is day 10 and I have lost a total of 11.8 lbs! I'm very pleased with that number. I am having a hard time getting all my veggies in. I'm planning on staying on induction until I consistently get in my 12-15 nc from veggies. It's hard when I am not hungry. Guess I should probably eat my veggies first (like my mama always told me). I'm not very good at planning ahead for meals so that has been my downfall. And one of my favorite veggies is spinach which has the lowest net carbs of any of the veggies I eat. Got my food scale yesterday :) That will certainly help.

Tonight is one of my very good friend's wedding. I'm going to skip the cake and alcohol. Truth be told I'm more sad about missing out on the alcohol lol. It's at 3 pm so I'm not planning on staying very late.

Sunday I'm going with the hubby to Sacramento Raceway to watch drag races. Will be packing a cooler with chopped up veggies (cucumber, peppers, broccoli) and other snacks - cheese sticks, pork rinds, jello. I'm planning on getting a cheeseburger there without the bun. It's going to be difficult to skip the ketchup but I think I'll manage.

If anyone has any ideas for easily portable snacks, please let me know! Wish me luck!
