Looks like I had an accidental spike day yesterday so the weekend will not be as fun for me food wise as normal... My husband and I went to a charity gala for cystic fibrosis and they had prime rib, pasta bar, ice cream sunday/candy bar, homemade potato chips, and BREAD! Wonderful yeasty bread! I couldn't resist! And at $55 a ticket, I had to get my money's worth. At least I only had one vodka and diet... so I saved on the alcohol calories. My dress was so tight too and I felt uncomfortable and just wanted to hide after that binge! Especially looking around the room at all the skinny statuesque women in the room in their fancy evening gowns looking like twigs... I think that is the hardest thing to get over when you were once overweight, I always compared myself to other skinny girls and wondered why I couldn't have been made like that... I think the emotional and physiological part of weight loss is harder than loosing the weight itself. At least it's Friday...

UGH! Today had been TERRIBLE as far as my food diary is concerned... I was all set for a healthy day when the rain outside made me feel sleepy, so I wandered over the ye ol' vending machine and I just lost my will power... and then my boss brought back smiley cookies for lunch! How could I pass one up... it had an eyepatch in support of the Pirates! I faultered today... so for dinner, looks like it's a shake! And LOTS of exercise tonight... Me and Jillian Michaels are going to spend some quality time together, and then I will have a quickie with the eliptical at the gym... Why is it so hard to stay on track! still waiting on my 4lbs of TOM weight to go away so I can button my jeans... being a woman sucks sometimes

So looking forward to my spike day.... it's been hard this week to exercise, I didn't go to the gym today, but plan on doing my Jillian dvd after work before Trivia. It's my TOM and I always struggle when I get it... I get sooo tired and gain 3-5 lbs of water weight, and it always makes me feel discouraged, even though i know that 1 or 2 days after I am back down to 128, it makes me feel like "why bother! just eat everything in sight!" so I'm hoping that my cravings are satisfied on saturday so I can stick out next week. I feel like I only need to loose 4 more lbs and I will be able to just maintain my weight and have spike weekends! I think I'm going to try going to bed earlier too... b/c I'm a late night snacking queen! Just like my Mom was when I was growing up I think I got the habbit from her. So, I figure if Im' sleeping, I'm not eating! And I'm getting my much needed rest to repair my muscles that are STILL sore from Monday's work out! I guess that's a good thing though, it means I pushed my body to change and adapt!!
