4.4 lbs gone! Woo! OK, so I know a lot of it is probably the initial water loss, but I'm still happy. It's a step in the right direction, and the first time in months I've seen the scale go down, not up. It's encouraging.
I went grocery shopping today and have all sorts of new recipes to try out and share with everyone. My pantry is starting to look much better now. Gee, I can't remember the last time the pantry was filled with cooking ingredients and not Pop-Tarts and cookies! I'd say the pantry and fridge transition is almost complete, but it'll take another week or two for both of them to be totally meal-ready.
I didn't meet my exercise goal last week, so I'm focusing on that this week. I still hope to get at least three days of cardio a week for a few weeks, then I'll add resistance training.

I thought I totally bombed my plan today with my chai latte. Turns out, it's not that bad in the world of lattes! Whew, dodged that one. However, it's a good lesson in that I shouldn't actively try to sabotage my diet. From now on, it's not going into my body unless I know the points value beforehand.
I am pretty hungry right now. I decided to wait until I get home from work to have dinner, which is a lovely paella. Really worth the wait! I just had some steamed veggies to tide me over; I hope it does.

I'm already off to a bad start, argh. Yesterday Ryan needed me to pick him up from work because he had rented all of the cars off his lot, including the one he drove to work! That meant that my lunch plans were thrown off track, since we had to eat lunch in Front Royal, where he works.
Dinner wasn't much better. The boys stayed the night at Mom and Dad's, so Ryan thought we should go out to a sit-down restaurant, something we don't do very often. I agreed with him, and we chose a local Mexican restaurant. I skipped the salsa and chips (so hard!), but I had two tamales and a chile relleno. I'm afraid to add up my points, but I know I have to! Thank goodness for the weekly flex points.
Today my goal is to stay on track! Ryan just went to the grocery store, and I gave him a list of ingredients from some of my old WW recipes. I also need to organize my pantry, which I will be doing shortly. I
will
do this and do it right!
