Well, this is me. I've never really been too overweight in my life, but enough that I lack some confidence. I have never been one to keep track of what I eat. I just kind of go off what I think works. Weekends are what get me the worst because I don't have my job as an excuse to not eat when unnecessary. I'm hoping to lose 30lbs (which is ambitious. I'd be happy with 20 too). I recently started running about 8 months ago. It has become my exercise of choice. I trained for and ran a 10K in May and now I am on my way to a half-marathon (hopefully). I run for distance, not for time. It has been a great stress relief for me and I have lost 12lbs just from the running.

I'm hoping that with the continued running and paying more attention to what I eat I can lose the weight. Time will only tell! Either way I'm excited to try something new and actually be involved in something as cool as this website. Pretty awesome!
