I am 61 and have been overweight since my second child was born 37 years ago. My husband is Prediabetic and we have his number down to <110 most mornings with diet and he walks at least 3 miles a day. I am walking back and forth to work which on average is 40 min. a day. I have been yo-yo dieting all these years. Have never been less than 180 and it didn't last very long any of the times that I got there. Diabetes is on both sides of my family but I vow never to get it because I will do whatever it takes to keep from it. I put my goal wt. at 160# because I feel that I should be able to get there and if I do I will then try to get to where I really would like to be and that is 130. I had always had a decent shape even though being overweight but not anymore. Things of course have shifted the last couple of years and I look really bad. I decided I will take pictures so I have something to show when I am done if I am successful as I want people to know that there is something that will work. But I have to get there first.
