My weight has fluctuated a little bit (+/- 10lbs) for most of my life and I have always been pretty fit. I grew up on a farm and enjoyed playing sports, working out and doing a lot of outdoor activities like horseback riding, hiking, snow shoeing and canoeing. Since the birth of my daughter 3 years ago losing weight has been a very steep uphill battle.

After the pregnancy, I ended up with separated abdominal muscles that promptly led to 2 herniated disks in my spine. I have hormonal imbalances making weight loss even more difficult. I am unable to work out in the ways that I used to and now spend what used to be my workout time doing physiotherapy for my back. Physio feels really slow and like I'm not really seeing any results.

Since the physical activity is out of my control for now, I decided to monitor my eating habits and control my intake of calories. Since signing up for FatSecret I have discovered that I really eat the wrong things (like cheese. I love cheese! Omg and bread!) And drink too many calories (wine! bad!) - I am not following a specific diet but making adjustments to the way I eat and hoping for the best!

GOAL REWARDS

210lbs - spa day (facial, mani-pedi, body scrub and massage)

200lbs - Get a personal trainer

180lbs - Get a new bathing suit! A pretty one!

160lbs - Go on a destination vacation (hawaii, panama, india, chile)

150lbs - REJOICE! Throw myself a party!
