I'm 52 years old and approx. 60 lbs over weight.
I've love CARBS but Carbs do not love me. I know this but once I eat them, I can't stop. Sound familiar?? I think they call this is "Food Addiction" Anyways, I'm tired of being fat and want to look and feel better. Call it my midlife crisis, whatever, I just need to lose weight.
I've been on so many diets the past 30 years that nobody takes me seriously when I tell them I'm dieting. I don't blame them, since I never follow through to the end. I seem to hit a 20 lb weight loss and people tell me how good I look and then in m mind it allows me to cheat, which then turns into my compulsive eating habits....
Today, well actually July 19, 2013, I decided enough was enough and stated my HCG Body for Life protocol. I know, I heard, red everyone's opinion about this diet. I've done my research and I'm doing it, As of today I'm down 10.5 lbs. I feel great and I'm finally believing in myself that I can complete my weight loss goal. I'm not one to share my weight, but this time I feel I need to for accountability. So I started around 230lbs (actually, I forgot to write my starting weight down) may have been a few pounds higher. Today I weighed in at 219.8. My goal is 170lbs. So I have a way to go. One step at a time. But this time I know I will make it to the finish line.
