I live in Virginia USA where I work as the Swimming Pool Supervisor for a small municipality (~45,000 residents in 17 sq miles). Having to walk around in just a pair of swim trunks can be quite revealing. If you don't have a pretty firm grip on your self image, it can be a nightmare. I've always been overweight, so I am not embarrassed or ashamed - heck, I loved every cheeseburger and french fry I ever ate - but I would love to be able to look great in a swimsuit for once. I'm not getting any younger and know that it's harder and harder each year. So this year, I plan on getting down to my ideal weight. I'm almost there...
