The month of October began my weight loss journey. I signed up at Spark People, followed their recommendations and lost 10 pounds in about two weeks. Then nothing. The month of November brought about a change. I was bored with the food I was eating and concerned about losing muscle, so I switched to low carb (the latest edition of Atkins). I lost another 10 pounds in two weeks and have been stuck since.

I'm using this website to track my food and my weight now. Since I enjoyed SparkPeople's user friendly interface and FitDay's technical data, I'm pleased to find that this website seems to be a good mix of both. I wish I'd signed up here sooner.

I eat a general low carb diet, but try to stay away from anything that's not natural. No sugar substitutes, no packaged bars, no Atkins shakes, no diet soda, no packaged meals, etc.
