Diario de Chants, 31 ene. 08

I had such a peanut butter craving last night that I couldn't sleep! You'll be pleased to know though, I resisted the urge to go down stairs and have a great big dollop of the smooth nutty spread on white bread (shock horror) with loads of real butter (even bigger shock horror). Oh but the temptation is still here and I had a sneaky sniff this morning! Peanut Butter is my biggest downfall, especially when there's a fresh loaf of warm white bread in the house! What I wouldn't do just to have a spoonful.... No Chants, you know if you start, you will NOT stop!!!!

My Tony hasn't been all that supportive the last 2 days because we went food shopping for his ex girlfriend last night(instead of the actual cash in her hand - she never spends it on his son and this way we know that at least he's getting vegatables) and he bought a tube of Salt & vinager Pringles, some chocolate cookies and scottish shortbread.... I think that is what triggered off my peanut butter craving!

Update: I had to give into my craving for peanut butter when I got home from work because I went into the high street to do some banking and I was shaking from head to toe and very light headed! - MAJOR sugar low! I got in and had a small sandwich with peanut butter but didn't feel that guilty because I know my body obviously needed it! Within minutes, I felt alittle better and the shakes calmed down! Very weird sensation considering I've had more calories today than normal! oh well, at least I didn't go nuts (excuse the pun) and spoon out the entire jar of Peanut butter!

hey good for you for not giving in untill your body needed it and then not feeling guitly never feel guilty if you eat something that your body needs even if it is a little naughty
