Diario de Maggy May, 02 abr. 18

Been doing a bit of research today on the Internet so off to the local dairy farm to buy some fresh raw milk tomorrow.....I make my own Milk Kefir, probiotic yoghurt and kefir cheese I've been using organic milk in the past which is quite expensive, I have allergies and a leaky gut so have been advised to try the raw milk.....it will be very interesting to find out if it's gonna work.....been cooking this afternoon for the weeks dinners so now I'm going to bag up single portions to freeze when cooled..... A Women's work is never done, Busy Busy Bee that's me.....

Gilly Fizzy its so easy to make and cheaper to do..... I have excess grains periodically that I have to put in the compost bin cos I have no one to pass them onto..... if you look up kefir grains you will see what I mean.....its a very natural probiotic drink tastes lemony when plain or you can add fruits if you wish to make a smoothie with it

Kefir is great - I cook with it a lot, great for marinated chicken, baking and salad dressings.

HI RAGBoyd.....After I make my Kefir cheese there is quite a bit of whey left over so with this I make Pizza dough, bread rolls and scones, I also drink whey with pure fruit juice, If I get tons of the stuff I dilute it and put it on my veg patch and house plants..... never marinated meat before with Kefir but will be giving that a try next BBQ .....Phooka I Will definitely be updating you on my trials with the raw milk as it may be very helpful to others out there that have the same problems.....BFN.....MM x

I had some issues with dairy and I tried the new plant alternative ones(oat,almond) and they've been amazing! Would definitely recommend, it was really cheap at sainsburys too ☺️

Hey, after reading this I did some research and found a website, culturesforhealth.com, which you might find interesting. After my (successful) foray into Kimchi with my excess courgettes last summer, I'll probably try some of the ideas on this site. You can get free eBooks too. Just a thought for you ...
