Starting SB today and it's scary seeing the number of carbs taken in already after only having breakfast. It's scary because of me quickly dropping 15 lbs on Atkins by NOT taking in so many carbs. I will try SB for a few days and check my weight. If I see the scale starting to climb toward my original start weight, I'll revert back to Atkins.

Remember w/SB, it's more about the good carbs you are eating, not the entire lack of carbs. It works if you stick to Phase 1 100%, don't add anything you are not supposed to and fix a variety of foods. There are great recipes on this website.

Doing a few days on this will not drop weight quickly. Most don't see results until the seventh day. I had a hard time switching from Atkins to SB and not having a set amount of carbs to stay under was hard but the results are longer lasting and in the long run much healthier if you stick to the life style change. Once I did I saw that the wight loss was steady and stayed off longer. I however lost my way and now am starting over. Good luck but honestly the only way to succeed is to forget everything that Atkins taught you about eating.
