Ugh* I was doing so well for a while and then once again I fell off the wagon like I always do. *sigh* Why oh why do I keep doing this to myself?! I know how to lose weight. I've done it many times. I can just never seem to make it to the finish line before I give up and gain it all back if not more. but today is a new day, I am feeling motivated, so here goes attempt # 5643! Give her take a number or two! LOL I really hope this time it sticks and I finally do this for myself! I know I can do it.

People use to say it’s ok to have a cheat day when you diet. I never understood it. But one day it clicked. You can have a cheat day to keep from totally falling off the wagon.

A secret to staying on target is planning ahead and anticipating the problems in advance and deciding IN ADVANCE how you are going to manage the situation instead of the situation managing us! Also, I simply CAN NOT have junk food, snacks, desserts..around in the house. They are way too tempting when I'm hungry, don't feel like cooking, when I'm too tired to think...etc. If I don't have them available and have healthier options to pick from...well, it's a no brainier...going to eat the healthy stuff! Life is way too hard already...why make it harder by sabotaging ourselves??? Best of good luck making smart choices for your future self!!!

Relax, you are trying too hard - Let this come to you - First, get back on track - After that ,if you have cravings as you are doing good, suffice them - I got to have an ice cream, beer, candy once in awhile - I can't get away from them - One summer I told myself, I will eat some jujubes (love them) once I got down to my different weight levels , maybe 4 or 5 pounds , I'm just saying - Don't beat yourself up , this is life - Enjoy it, it's okay - YOU CAN DO IT

Thanks everybody. I appreciate all the support more than you know. I just needed to have a pity party real quick, and now im ready to push forward. Thanks for helping me through it guys. Y'all rock!

I agree with you John...its hard to grasp this as a life time commitment and everyone or most here has done the steps of repeating and repeating over.. we are only human ... will I always choose the most healthy selection of foods..the answer is no...but once I learn to live right... I'm researching the way to moderation lol;)

Hi Christy, I don't know your WOE, but maybe it's time to consider somethings different. We really don't want to "diet" for the rest of our lives, we want a WOE that works. For me, it's avoiding carbs and processed foods, eating whole foods I cook, and keto WOE. I find it more satisfying for less calories than other ways of eating.
