Scale said 111.2 this morning. It is hard to not let the number of the scale get you down- even when I had to go shopping this weekend for new work clothes because my other ones were (literally) falling off because I must be losing inches.
Looking back on it, I now wish I would have kept measurements as another way to track my progress. I am debating whether or not it would be worth starting to keep measurements now...
The positives that I am focusing on: way more energy, not craving coffee like I used to, looking better in my clothes, had to get new clothes because I shrunk, my skin is looking great, and I have inspired my hubby to start working out on a regular basis as well!
Another benefit of running is that I get to look at all the pretty trees and the creek that the running trail follows every-other day. I am finding myself bummed when it is not a running day- although the pain of shin splits is still ingrained enough in my mind to remind myself not to be stupid and push too hard too quickly again :(
