Diario de Shoushy, 28 abr. 12

I have been doing alot of exercise lately, around 3 times cardio gym classes and 2 times per week swimming, and i haven't been loosing weight as i expected, i'm starting to feel down. I feel like all my hard work is going for nothing. Actually i even feel more blown since my muscle has grown slightly bigger:( my pants are getting abit tight, it's depressing..
Although looking at my food diary, i always have a net of at least 800 cal lower.I just want to know what i'm doing wrong! I hate my body, it's soo stubborn..

I am mad at myself since i ate all the carbs i saw in front of me. I guess i would call it emotional eating, i was on the edge of quitting my stupid diet, since i hav been really following it for around 10 days now, and just out of no where i go on the scale today with my weight back to my starting point, 1 kg more! This is a vicious cycle, I know what i did today didn't help my body at all, which makes me even more down. I will start tomorrow again, but this time i will cut carbs from consuming it only in the morning, to 0 by alternating it day by day. tom will be the non carb day, i hope this is a gd idea..

Stick with it!! Sometimes it takes time for your body to react to your new lifestyle/workout routine.. Also, it might be holding onto weight because you are REALLY low on calories some days.. Personally I don't feel comfortable seeing people go below about 1200 calories/day (unless they are like 4'10" or something..) It's good to keep your body guessing by varying your exercise routine and calorie intake, but only having 8-900 calories is not healthy (in my opinion..) - and I would think it contributes to this emotional cycling that you are going through... Also, maybe you want to focus yourself more on increasing your protein and vegetable intake rather than restricting your carbs. (Again, this is personal preference - I would rather focus myself on the things I CAN have instead of having things I 'can't' have...) And lastly, the calorie estimator on FS is a little extra-generous with burned calories.. so if you have access to a heart rate monitor or something that can more accurately record your calorie burn, that would be helpful so that you aren't overestimating your net calorie burn and getting frustrated when you don't see a corresponding loss..
