Well, crap. Today didn't work out at all. Maybe I overdid it on the carbs. I was so happy that I did so well on my diet and also got my fat percentage down but then at night I had a problem I often have but which has been miraculously absent since monitoring my food intake here on fatsecret. I was starving and couldn't sleep as a result. I ate two cookies and then some toast with margarine mixed with flax oil, bringing my total calories up to almost 500 higher than yesterday. And yesterday I supposedly burned more, too. So what is the problem? It could be that I didn't get enough sleep last night because of New Year's. They say that makes you eat more. But this much more? I'm skeptical. Because I have this problem an awful lot I suspect its the carb/fat balance. Tomorrow, I'll try fewer carbs, but a little more fat. Not quite as much as I was eating but more than I ate today, which was very little. We'll see how that goes.
