Walking everyday for about 2 years now --- Think I may have missed a handful of days in all that time. My routine this past year has been one hour of brisk walking each day.... pace is 4.5 mph so I am booking. About one day in ten I will walk twice (two hours) just cause the weather is sooooo nice out. I walk often with my chocolate lab. He loves it --- Most days I still eat only once a day and go to a buffet like Furr's or Golden Corral. (sometimes chinese buffet or Hometown buffet) Mostly eating at buffet because I can get a variety of healthy stuff --- Start with huge salad everytime and eat lean meats and lots of vegetables (steamed broccolli, spinach, turnip greens etc) -- no fried stuff (almost) and depending on my weight I will or won't eat dessert. Have maintained under 167 for a long time --- I just keep entering 167 in log if I am close to or under 167 --- sometimes I get down to 162-163 -- Feeling great --- Have not been sick for two years except a sore throat I had for a week about a month ago but I just pushed through it with no doc visit --- kept walking and all worked out. Eating once a day is no biggie at all for me now -- it is all psycological -- having control over hunger means hunger does not control you. Later
