Give it a few days, just get back to eating your 'normal' amounts/foodstuffs and it should even itself out ok...

It's just a small fall, take it as a lesson and slough it off. I am planning my fall for Friday and it involves avocado, wine and crispbreads!

I had a few fail days last week, as I had to go up to London for my medical (for my green card to USA), got on the scales and was surprised to find I had still lost a pound. So, back on the diet again. Don`t beat yourself up about one day, when you can pick up and carry on with what you were doing originally to lose the weight :)

It is not a fall or fail, it is just one of those days that we pass through in life...nothing more...it will not harm your week or month...

Omg! what a coincidence. Have you had your medical yet? Our interview is on the 25th July, I am so nervous. Good luck with yours :)

Janwhidbey - no, I am still at NVC processing stage - have not even got a date for interview :( my application has been going since last November - I married last summer. It seems to be taking forever ... but guess I am closer to the end now ..... hard living apart from my husband though. Which part of the US are you headed to? It's great to meet someone going through the process! :)

We are going to Seattle. I am moving over with my eldest daughter and her husband. My youngest daughter went over there last year, and my son has been living out there for the last 8 years. My children are American. Did your husband apply for your visa in the US? We tried that through my son, but realised it was going to take longer, so my daughterliving here went through London which was much faster. I am sure it can`t be much longer for you, have you been able to track it yet to see when processing is going through? Waiting on NVC is the longest part, after that it all speeds up.

Hi Jan - yes we had to apply in the US and then go through consular processing - my DS260 has just gone to the NVC, but just getting approval from USCIS took six months! - so I am hoping the NVC part might be more like a month and then hopefully I will get my interview in the next couple of months. I have not seen my husband for nearly 2 months and won't see him again now till I get my green card .... its doing my head in! I do have a case number now so in theory I can log in and see what is happening but I also have an attorney so he is keeping me posted. Its an expensive love affair! :)
