Workout - Rowing 45 minutes, Upper body weights

Calories - 1110

Water - 52 oz

Weight - 198.5 lbs

Well the weight is still dropping fast, I expect that to level off soon. The eating is going great, stopped by a friends house to visit and ate a light dinner with them (150 cals light).

I am still surprised by how eating regular meals (protein, complex carbs, water) and avoiding the high glycemic load my hunger stays in check. This is just the beginning but I thought I would be getting the munchies big time when it came to late night. Before I could easily plow down a Big Mac and large fries and be hungry 2 hours later. The calorie amount would be much higher then what I am eating now yet I would be hungry later.

The one advantage I think I have is that my fitness base is pretty good. I am not starting out from a couch potato fitness level where walking around the block a couple times gets me winded. Hopefully this will hold me in good stead when I continue this journey. The Concept II rower provides a killer full body workout and that really tends to use fat as a primary fuel for ATP energy.

Its weird isnt it? How a McDonalds doesnt fill you up no matter how much you eat. A hour later I am always hungry again. Boo McDonalds!
