I'm still not down with my weight despite all my working out. Really trying to tighten up the eating so hopefully that will help soon.

I'm ready for the triathlon on Sunday and looking forward to it. This is just the little indoor one- 10 min swim, 15 min bike, 15 min swim. It is intense though b/c this one is more about speed than endurance.

The good news is I have beaten my bike and run times in training from the one I did last year. It is DARN hard though to do. I crank my bike level up to 17 and stand up much of the time with sweat dripping off me and I can barely make my time from last year. The run feels easier. I try to run at a 6.6 minimum if possible and go up to a 7.5. My swim time is down and I am just shy of getting in 1/4 mile (17.5 lengths) in the 10 min. This time we will do it in waves of 4, so I can compete with my workout partner and my husband and another guy friend. Should be fun! Our times will go against the other Y members across the state at least. I love the feeling of feeling "tough." Do you know what I mean? All this training makes me feel like I can kick someone's butt!

Anyway, I will be sure to report in! Send speedy thoughts my way on Sunday!
