Considering living on eggs. We have $50,000 to pay off my parents, and Dad mentioned that he would prefer it in 10 years and we can't afford that, so I am thinking how to live as frugally as possible. As long as my husband and son eats I can cope. Eggs are the perfect food supposedly so am thinking of eating eggs for meals, should be cheap.

That and drinking water only....

I would rather my son good good formula. And that my husband gets enough to eat as he has to work at the end of this month.

Hey Squiggs! So glad you are doing well, and baby boy is doing well too! That is exciting news that hubby is working at the end of the month!! WHOOO HOOO! I know all too well the stress of HUGE DEBT that feels like it's impossible, but NOTHING is impossible for God!!! Try to look at it like $100 / week (it doesn't sound so bad that way) and when you can - great. And when you can't get creative. And when that doesn't work... they will have to try to understand. In time, this will work itself out. Just like losing weight, you pay off a large amount like that one payment at a time!!! And eggs...are delish! ;)

I know that none of us walk exactly in others' shoes...but I do know something about paying off "huge debt". Don't know if you have ever heard of Dave Ramsey but his work helped me through a very tough time. Alot of churches use his materials and many towns offer his program to their residents. There are also many Christian debt agencies that can help you get things into some type of manageable payoff. I agree with Paula....NOTHING is impossible with God. You will be in my prayers and like Paula says, "eggs are delish..." God bless.

Eggs are a wonderful food! And I thought of Dave Ramsey's materials, as well. His ideas and principles have helped countless people pay off amazing amounts of debt in record time. And, while it sounds like a HUGE debt right now, when you break it down like Paula did, it's still difficult but so much more manageable....kinda like weight loss! You'll find a way.... :)

Good for you, for not letting money problems be an excuse to quit your diet!! I've used that excuse waaaayyyy too many times. You are a stronger woman than I! :-) And hey - at least eggs can be fixed a gazillion different ways. Hang in there!
