Yesterday went out to eat with friends we have not seen in months. Enjoyed the night out...but ate too much. I think to tell you the truth I would have ate a lot more....so I did think about what I was eating. No popcorn, whipping cream , ice cream...I was going to skip the bread,butter and potato...but thought I am so hungry right now. It does not make sense to eat just the meat on the plate when we are out with good friends. So I gained three pounds over night...that is the results...so it is not calories...its is carbs with me. Too many and I put on lots of weight. I wish there was a majic pill ... and my body could adjust and not gain weight. I have been on diet for year and half and the last three weeks ... have finally shown a difference on my body and scale with the low carb Atkins diet. Exercised too much today...but hopefully, I can get back into 30 carbs or less...and continue the journey to my goal weight. Have a wonderful Memorial Day and Bless the military

Honestly, if you ate in a restaurant, it's probably all water gain. Restaurants use so much salt in their food the sodium content is outrageous, which leads to water retention.
