Trader Joe Staples For Cindyshine

Cindy asked me what I like from TJ's. I don't get the gluteny stuff anymore but it's still great for all the wheatophiles out there. One caveat-TJ's has annoying habit of discontinuing products at exact moment you become a hopeless dependent. Shop at your own risk :)

Whole wheat lavash bread
Whole wheat honey hamburger/hot dog buns
Whole wheat artisan bread
Brown Rice Pasta
Gluten free granola (addictive). I sprinkle a bit on my greek yogurt
Frozen cilantro and basil cubes
Store brand Greek Yogurt
Canned Marinara Sauce (the red and green 28 oz can). I use it for EVERYTHING-great as a pizza sauce
Canned Tomatoes w/roasted green chiles (fantastic for chili)
Turkey-less Turkey Sausages
Meatless Ground Meat (forgot what it's called)-perfect for veggie tacos or chili
Frozen Sweet Potato Fries
Fresh Pizza Dough
French pre-cooked lentils in the vacuum pack-a must have. I make lentil soup and Indian daal in a jiffy.
Frozen Mochi Icecream (uh oh)
Basmati Rice (brown or white) in the pasta aisle. Best rice ever!
Frozen brown rice (organic)
Bagged limes/lemons
Belgium Chocolate Pudding in a tub (TDF) I dole it out in 1/4 cup and savor it!
Morningstar frozen veggie bacon and sausage links
Frozen steel cut oatmeal (so convenient)
Gluten free Choc cookies

Mediterranean Hummus is the bomb! Best commercial hummus IMO.

Jared Tomato Chutney-really lovely condiment w/cheese or with Indian food. It's spicy!
No boil Lasagna Noodles for my 1x/year Grandma Lasagna
NY Style Cheesecake (the big one in the frozen section) Oh dear-fabulous for company.
Lemon Tart in the bakery aisle-made by a VERY famous LA Baker.
All their nuts and dried fruits-especially the pistachios!
Bourbon Vanilla Extract-inexpensive and REAL
Saffron in Spice Aisle-amazing quality for amazing price-an essential ingredient for Paella and Indian style rice.

Cinnamon Buns in the tube-so much better that the Supermarket brands. I make them every xmas.
