Diario de Honestly, 25 ene. 12

How long exactly do plateaus last!? I have managed somehow to not be angry about it anymore. What I know for certain is I am continuing on this journey to better health. The scale will catch up eventually. Today was pretty sweet because my new jeans are now baggy. Got an old coat out while I washed my other and it too was baggy! Score! Clearly somethings working. Ok, so I'm lossing inches and maybe not pounds. I am OK with that. Going to try to stay off the scale til my weigh-in Saturday. My psyche can't take the flucuations. I can not give that scale so much power. I am doing what I need to be doing. There is no reason to be obsessing with numbers. I'm sounding like Bill Murray in What About Bob, "I'm doing the work man!" I am most definetly doing the work so maybe the scale will reflect that on SATURDAY. Maybe not but I am continueing to do the work. The truth is this feels great. It feels great to be almost 70lbs lighter. It feels great to have an exercise program/plan. It feels great to wear clothes I wasn't able to fit into. Life is good! Keep the faith.

I recently stopped weighing in daily b/c I have been stuck for close to a month. I thought I would miss the scale, but haven't. I will be weighing in on Saturday too. I think I need to increase my calorie burn since I am probably burning less since I weigh less now than I did when I started my journey a year ago. So, on Sunday I added HIIT for 30 minutes/day (30 day shred DVD). I'm eager to see if this makes the scale move on Saturday - I do feel like my clothes are more loose, but still haven't gotten into the next size down. I'll be keeping the faith right along with you!!

When I was bigger and losing weight I would lost a pound a day CONSISTANTLY for like 2 months! So I weigh daily, but I don't lose a pound a day anymore...I lose maybe 2 pounds a week, but I still weigh daily. When I step on the scale its just a moment of either ":-/" or ":-D!" depending on what the number is. Even if its a ":-/" morning I get on with my day and do it to my fullest. The scale WILLLLL catch up!!! Don't give up, even when it seems what we are working for is never going to get here, it will.
