The 3-1-2-1 Diet

I have see a lot of people talking about this diet and how good it has been for people that cheat..many good comments on this but be warned they want to sell you the book.....love to get some comments from FS members if they are doing this diet. I am doing keto and will stay here but i have many friends and family members that don't lose weight cause they are cheating and maybe this is the answer for them.

Rule #1: Count Calories
Counting calories is the simplest way to learn control your portions.

Rule #2: Alternate Between Clean and Cheat Days
Follow the 3-1-2-1 rule for the best results: 3 1500-calorie clean days, 1 1700-calorie cheat day, 2 1500-calorie clean days, 1 1700-calorie cheat day.

Rule #3: Fuel Up With Food Combos

Fiber & Healthy Fat: Fiber traps bad fat and sugar in the body, keeping your blood sugar stable and reducing cravings while healthy fats make you feel more satiated.

Rule #4: Beat the Bloat
Coconut water is effective. Replace two glasses of water a day with this potassium-rich drink and your belly bloat will disappear.

If you would care to follow up on this and read more just google. The 3-1-2-1 Diet

Cheating by eating only 200 more calories??? I'm thinking that there is at least a 10% caloric margin of error on most, if not all foods. On a 1500 calorie plan that's 150/day. The idea of limiting your calories to a 1500 - 1700 range daily sounds like just regular eating to me. Maybe people feel a bit more massaged with the word 'cheat' in it? I don't quite understand the part about fiber trapping bad fat in the body... Perhaps it's just a simple insulin issue due to the fiber directing fat storage? You know what else is highly effective? Regular water. :D

I eat what I want but don't consider it cheating. I call it flexible dieting.

You don't need a book to count calories. Just eat what you prefer while monitoring calorie intake. :)

I agree with Diablo360x on this topic. You don't really need to cheat if you eat right, no limitations on what is ok to eat, just know when to stop :)
