I'm not sure this diet is really working for me. I never go over on my carbs, and I try to eat enough fat. I lost 12 pounds in the first month (which happens no matter what diet I'm on), but have gained weight slowly since. I feel discouraged that yet one more diet is not working.

Not sure why you are gaining, but everyone has gains on weight loss plans. Our charts look more like roller coasters not a straight line down. Maybe you ate too much sodium one day and have a gain the next. Stay hydrated and keep going. Give it a little more time and see what happens. Kick up your activity level.

Thanks. I can't figure out why. I'm not a salt person but I did drink soda (diet). Maybe that's it. But my weight is so high that on a low carb diet I lose weight much faster. I don't keep it off and can't keep up with it. But I did expect a quicker weight loss than I'm getting, and especially didn't expect to gain. I guess I'll just wait
