My in-laws are visiting this week from out of state. I haven't seen them since the Christmas/New Years holidays, so it was a pleasant surprise when the very first thing out of my mother-in-law's mouth when we hugged was, "You're so skinny!" :)

Now that's something I haven't heard anyone say to me in decades. I'd wager the last time was when I was a preteen. But I've gotta admit it sure is great to hear it again...now...in my 40s. LOL
