So down .4 pounds this AM. Just got done with my 2nd fitness test. I've included my old scores for comparison

Squats to exhaustion: 23..............................32
Push-ups to exhaustion: 5...............................8
Plank to exhaustion: 50 sec..........................1 min 1 sec
Sit and reach: 2 inches........................4 inches
I was a little disappointed that my running time wasn't that much better, but then I thought about it: I haven't been running. I've been doing HIIT and strength training. I read somewhere that the only way to get better/faster at something is to actually do it! Sure the HIIT has probably helped my cardio endurance, and the strength training has helped me build more muscle....but that doesn't necessarily mean I'll be automatically faster at running.
Proud of everything else though!
In the middle of the plank part hubby comes in our gym room and starts trying to tell me where he put the spare key for his car... and I had to yell at him 'GO AWAY RIGHT NOW, CANT YOU SEE IM PLANKING?!" Funny in hindsight but at the time I was DYING lol.
Anywho. Starting a new 8 week workout program with fitness blender. since the weather should be getting nicer I think I'll have to throw in a few 2 miles runs for one of the cardio days.
We'll see what happens!
