Diario de Pearson16, 24 feb. 16

Argh, 0.6 lbs away from being out of the 240s and I'm desperate to see the 230s on the scale. Yesterday I headed to the gym and walked for 45 minutes on the treadmill. I haven't exercised in so long that I am entirely out of shape. I tried pushing myself as hard as I could on the treadmill but I only ended up aggravating my ankle and knee injuries - not good. So I decided to slow it down and do the best I can for now. I need time to heal but sometimes it's hard for met o realize that because I am not a very patient person. 45 minutes isn't much, but it's more than I was doing before. And with time I'll gradually add harder exercises eventually ending up where I want to be. I just have to keep reminding myself of that!

I started out with easy walking when I weighed 240lb. Later I used some exercise videos with light hand weights. You will get there - never give up.

Thank you, both! I am desperate to start incorporating weight training but for right now I just have to do what I can. I don't have a vast amount of time I can dedicate to the gym either so I will definitely have to come up with some sort of plan.

maybe you could try a 20 min interval on the treadmill instead of 45 mins. like a fast pace walk then a slow pace walk on and off. You are doing great you will get there!

That's what I was going for initially and that's how I aggravated my ankle and knee. It seems that, for now, I just have walk slower for longer. It's not my preference though so I am looking forward to when I can do intervals without issue.
