16 yrs for me. Best success of my life. Keep up your good fight.  

That is success. It can take a long while to eliminate the cravings — mental not physical. Keep going and don’t look back.

Congratulations... no small feat! I'm now at 1,805 days today. The 28th of this month will be 5 years for me. Just like with health and exercise just continue to stack the days.

Awesome!! The 25th of this month I will have quit 8 years, after 40 years of almost 2 pks/day. It gets way easier!! 😊

APhoebe, congratulations on quitting smoking. It can be done, and does take some time. After starting smoking in my mid-teens, smoking heavily beginning with the Army, and continuing until I was 37, I quit cold-turkey in August 1984. I could not climb 3 floors of steps, and decided to change my life. It has been 40 years, and I do not regret one day of quitting. My father did essentially the same thing in 1957 at 47 when the 1st news had come out about smoking causing cancer & other diseases. Be strong on this commitment to good health. You are doing great !!
