i decided early in this journey that i had to not only develop Intrinsic Motivation, but also aim for Consistency, not Rewards.

Still, there are some rewards, but they are emotional and psychological. i decided that food treats are not the "rewards" I want. I'm not a dog.

I'm a person and my rewards are control of my behavior even when emotions are chaotic. control of my eating even during vacations or holidays. Consistency with meal prep, exercise, weighing, tracking, measuring.

my rewards are self accountability and ownership. owning our behavior and choices is a powerful transformative force.

the accumulation of consistency and complete control over my habits and choices are my reward. and when i have a free day to deviate, it's under my terms.
