Today a FatSecret buddy ask me about my goals. As I started write to reply, I gave it some serious thought. I'm undecided. My weight in my 30's to 40's years was around 140 pounds. I didn't like that weight at all. I felt puny compared to the guys with whom I worked. The work was very physical and I thought a few pounds would be helpful. I started to eat heavy in my 40's and go to the gym to bulk up. I got up to my current weight and those feelings about my weight disappeared but I started to get a pot belly. I was actually okay with that. I thought it was an acceptable compromise.

I continued eating heavy without problems until I retired from that job. After a few months I returned to work but in an office environment. That's when I gained about 45 pounds and health problems. Now the weight is almost gone but I'm in between waist sizes. I think 32's look better on me than 34's except on days when my weight is above 155 pounds. I'm a little hesitant to set 150 pounds as my goal because that would make me stay close to 145 pounds to stay in the Blue. I don't want to go back to feeling puny again. My current goal is to stay in the Blue for 30 days. Then I will decide what is next...

I believe my thinking is pretty similar to yours. Sticking to the blue as you continue to work out your plan you'll have a better idea of where you want to be in some time. It is nice seeing that blue line under your profile pic. :)

I agree. Give your body a chance to settle down and then ask your head again :)
