I agree with Notelaine about body composition being a better measure. You could buy some bodyfat calipers for under $20 on Amazon and have your partner help you measure. It will give you the healthy bodyfat range for your age and height. If I have lower bodyfat and more lean body mass, I can weigh more on the scale than most would think. I think it is about fitness and strength in the end, but these are my ideas and goals - you want to figure out your ultimate goals to determine your weight loss goal. Good Luck.
