Diario de kalligator, 27 jul. 24

Unfortunately I have gained weight and I am very sad about that, I have been trying so hard to lose it. I am going to start walking for 30 minutes each morning so hopefully that will help. And my sister said she wants to come with me some days so that will also be fun! It is hard as a teenager to eat healthy because I don't have a lot of say in what we eat. For example, we went to McDonald's today because my sister wanted to and so I didn't have any healthy options. I am also planning on drinking only water for a while, like I've seen some of you doing in your posts, especially because I am about to start marching band at school again. I know that will keep me in shape so I am really looking forward to it. I really like infused water though so I made some today and I think doing that will make me want to drink a lot more water! It's just ice, water, some frozen and some cut up strawberries, a whole sliced orange, a little bit of all natural lemonade, and a splash of lime juice. Let me know what you think of it!

Ok, 112-115 is a reasonable weight goal for you. One thing for you to keep in mind about being here on Fat Secret is that the majority of us are at least in their 30s, a lot in that 30-55 range and a lot are in their 60s. I am 76. Many here have life long histories of food addiction , obesity and even eating disorders. That is not your profile and you should be cautious following the same way of eating as many here. You are young and everything about you needs adequate nutrition. I am not obese and have never been obese but I am on FS to monitor my nutrition.. we older people have our own set of nutritional needs that are a bit different than those who are younger. Are your parents willing to help you achieve your goal or are you kinda on your own? To begin with I would suggest portion control, moderation in choosing foods that generally add nothing to your well being but taste good— like pizza. Healthier eating most of the time and less healthy or choices less likely to help you achieve your goal weight just once in a while.. you need protein, good fats, fewer carbohydrate types like white bread, starchy potatoes. Try to stay out of fast food restaurants, but if you can’t, just make the best choices you can. So much to learn about this subject and you are going to be busy when school starts. Feel free to ask us questions. Just do me and yourself a favor and remind us how old you are and how tall you are. That will help guide us in offering the best advice we can.

Well I did have a kind of eating problem last year, there was something wrong with my stomach and I just couldn't eat anything without throwing up. But I went to the doctor and ended up going to a hospital for it so I'm all better now and I want to stay that way. I'm pretty much on my own because my parents do want to eat better too, however we usually start eating healthy for about a week and then we stop:/

I’m going to say this with love. If you had an eating disorder last year (reading into the hospital/stomach/throwing up part), this is NOT the place for you. No diet sites are safe for those suffering from an eating disorder. Talk to your parents, go to therapy. It does sound like you may be on the verge if not already body dysmorphia. You are 15, your body will continue to change and grow for a few more years. Please do not go down this path.

When I was your age I was doing weight watchers. My advice would be to try that out. You can eat anywhere, just stick to your daily calories. Do NOT do any fad diets. South beach diet (aka Keto before Keto was a thing), tons of fad diets, and anorexia/bulimia messed up my body so bad and left me with the worst metabolism on the planet. Don’t be like me, or you will be suffering for years to come. Get with a nutritionist now while you are young if you can. Moderation is key to eating, and stay active (but don’t over do it!). You got this! ❤️

I wouldn't call it a disorder, it was more like a sickness and it only lasted a few months but im better now. I am just trying to be healthier and feel better now.
