Sitting here WIDE awake because this ole gal went to bed around 9 pm last night too tired. So I wake up at 1 am not tired got enough sleep. Usually after 4 hours Im good. But man am I hungry yet I don't want to start food calories this early its gonna be a long day. So Im gonna do coffee and a string cheese. OH joy. Log my food for the coming day, log exercise, read journals etc. Got a bit sloppy with food calories the past two days and Im gonna regroup once again. Its all about the journey and what your learning along the way. No matter what I have been trained to think about caloric count in the past 2 1/2 months of LCHF my weight is starting to yoyo. I lose , regain, lose and trip and have to start fresh. Its gonna happen I just have to study harder. Calories do matter. A loss is a loss no matter how small it it if you laid the fat out on a table as we have all seen in the pictures of compared to muscle its one less thing I have to carry.

For me it's important that I log all food and watch my calories. It is possible to overeat on a LCHF diet. At the end of the day it comes down to energy balance. Too many calories and you gain. The yoyo can get frustrating. You can try to cut calories further or add exercise. Even fidgeting more during the day can help.

Your sleep is all out of wack and I guess its affecting your weight. I hope things settle soon Patty.

Oh yes, for me I have had to watch my calories on LCHF. I was/am/can be a volume eater. Years ago when I tried LC it was the norm to hear eat as much as you want. HA! I did and didn't lose a thing and gave it up. Fast forward 100 lbs and knowing myself better I stayed around 1200 calories. Worked wonderfully for me.
