Diario de Alilyadahlia, 27 may. 24

I hurt my back at the end of my training week last week. I was doing my first set of Lateral raises and it was a weight I had been at for some time without issues. I think my muscles weren't warm enough maybe. I just felt my back pull during the 6th rep out of nowhere followed by two days of a lot of pain. I saw my chiropractor who said there was definite subluxation with pinching of the nerve between the fascia. He was able to alleviate the issue ALOT and I'm doing TLC at home. My two rest days this week became four. I'm still not 100% today but no longer waking up from pain at night. Today I am trying to push myself to start Day 1 but I'm honestly so nervous. I cannot get hurt. Too many people rely on me. I have to do this though!! So please let me be safe!! 🙏

Back injuries are no joke. Take care of yourself.

Do other exercises that don't involve the back so it can heel like lower body exercises or Bicep curls with light weight, etc

I have had 2 lower back surgeries. You do not want to go there. Take the time to heal 100 % before you resume 100%. It is worth the time to do so. Cross train while you heal. Do hamstring & hip flexor stretches. Do not rush it.

Thanks everyone. It definitely got "angry" yesterday even though I did a lighter training session. I took today off and I'm going to take it easy until it is better
