Hey My LCHF Friends ,, have you ever experienced a "Quest bar" ? I keep seeing the name here and there as a go to snack/meal . The protein is good,, and they are anywhere at about 3 or so NC . Just think they may be better then The Atkins bars in that respect . Just wondering your opinions . And if its not a bad thing bringing to your attention may help someone . Actually I saw them on a list of " Keto " snacks as well I think is why I researched it . I cannot recall where I saw this as I read so much on the topic I overwhelm myself at times .
your thoughts appreciated ,, no negativity please as I mostly eat real food myself ,, But there are times when we are all in situations that real food is not always feasible .thank you

Dried squid jerky is also another tasty alternative. Sorry for the stomach-churning food, I'm Asian and I'll eat anything, okay, not anything. I don't eat pu.. er, puffer fish. Yeah, that's it. lol

oh wow I love sardines had these as a child. we owned a boat and sardines was in the survival box. never stayed in the box long. haha also like Brunswick kipper snaks. they are little fishes come in soybean oil, mustard sauce and or hot sauce. all of these are a quick fix when you are hungry and in a hurry, we also like tuna scrambled with eggs. yummmmm sounds nasty but try it.

Quest bars have been my "survival" bars for the tough days. Nope, not a clean food, but better than reckless abandon! Ha! I chose them over Atkins bars for a couple of reasons; the biggest one being the chocolate coating on those things vs the ridiculous heat down here! Epic bars...love those!! Local Austin company...even better!
