Week one in the books. I found some foods are "too expensive" when it comes to the nutrients, and some are worth "the expense". for example, I didn't like the turkey sausage. I'd rather have an egg whites omelette with shredded cheese. I also learned that Dry Honey Nut Cheerios is a great mid-day filling snack. I joke that I've completed the circle of life. As a toddler I ate dry Honey Nut Cheerios for a snack and now was a senior adult I'm snacking on them again. For this diet to be sustainable, I have to enjoy the foods and I need to feel like I'm not hungry all the time also, it has to be budget friendly.
